Ready to start this months creation? Follow along!

Your shipment this month includes the Live in the Sunshine Club Couture Transfer and Chalkology® Paste Singles: Couture Teal, Guava, and Shimmer Harvest.

Supplies Included

Club Couture Chalk Transfer® design: Live in The Sunshine
Chalkology® Paste Singles: Couture Teal, Guava, and Shimmer Harvest

Additional Supplies Needed

Surface: Door Tag (9" × 12")
Tools: Color Trays, Fuzzing Cloth, Mini Squeegee

Color and Placement Suggestions

Couture Teal: “swim”, “the wild air”, lines
Guava: “in the sunshine”, lines, “drink”, “Ralph Waldo Emerson”
Shimmer Harvest: “live”, “the sea”, lines

Follow these instructions to complete this project:

1. Remove your Transfer from its packaging and carefully peel off the Transfer Backer Sheet.

2. “Fuzz” the Transfer by gently pressing onto a Fuzzing Cloth and carefully pulling it upward. This will make the Transfer easier to remove from the surface after you’ve applied the paste.

3. Center the Live in The Sunshine Transfer on the surface, and smooth it out to ensure it has properly adhered and that there are no bubbles or wrinkles.

4.Knead your Chalkology Paste Singles. Cut open the corner of each packet and squeeze the desired amount of paste onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.

5. Use your Mini Squeegee to apply color over your Transfer (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”). Scrape away excess paste as evenly as possible. The more excess paste you remove, the better the result will be.

6. For best results, divide your project into two sections and use the chalk-and-pull method. Chalk the top section of the design and peel back only that portion of the Transfer to let the paste dry on the surface before continuing. To prevent any stretching in the Transfer, peel from the center or from both corners.

7. Gently lay the Transfer back down over the chalked section. Ensure that the next section is fully adhered, and repeat the above steps as you work your way down the Transfer.

8. Once your design is fully chalked and before the paste dries, remove your Transfer from the surface and immediately clean the Transfer with cool water (do not let it soak).

9. Dry the Transfer flat with the sticky side up. Once completely dry, reapply the Transfer Backer Sheet and store flat.

10. Show off your splashing new project!

May Club Couture - Lemonade Stand // Come Chalk with Me!

When life gives you lemons, make easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy home décor projects! This month’s Club Couture Transfer features a vintage lemonade stand sign, adorned with greenery, an old-timey call for ice cold lemonade, and fresh lemons (of course).

Ready to start this months creation? Follow along!

Your shipment this month includes the Lemonade Stand Transfer and Bumblebee, Meadow, and Storm Chalkology® Paste Singles.

Supplies Included
-Club Couture Chalk Transfer® design: Lemonade Stand -Chalkology® Paste Singles: Bumblebee, Meadow, and Storm

Additional Supplies Needed
-Surface: Pallet Sign (9" × 12")
-Tools: Color Trays, Fuzzing Cloth, Mini Squeegees

Color and Placement Suggestions
-Bumblebee: lemons, “lemonade”
-Meadow: greenery, lemon leaf
-Storm: frame, “ice cold”, “freshly squeezed”, “refreshing & delicious”

Follow these instructions to complete this project:

1. Remove your Transfer from its packaging and carefully peel off the Transfer Backer Sheet.

2. “Fuzz” the Transfer by gently pressing onto a Fuzzing Cloth and carefully pulling it upward. This will make the Transfer easier to remove from the surface after you’ve applied the paste.

3. Center the Lemonade Stand Transfer on the surface, and smooth it out to ensure it has properly adhered and that there are no bubbles or wrinkles.

4. Knead your Chalkology Paste Singles. Cut open the corner of each packet and squeeze the desired amount of paste onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.

5. Use your Mini Squeegee to apply color over the Transfer (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”). Once the screen portions of the design are completely covered, use your Mini Squeegee to remove excess paste as evenly as possible; excess paste can be scraped back into the Color Tray. The more excess paste you remove, the better the result will be.

6. For best results, divide your project into two sections and use the chalk-and-pull method. This allows you to work in smaller sections without having the paste dry in the screen, which would give you patchy results. Chalk the top section of the design and peel back only that portion of the Transfer to let the paste dry on the surface before continuing (use the Quick Dry Tool for a faster dry). To prevent any stretching in the Transfer, peel from the center or from both corners, instead of peeling diagonally.

7. Once your design is fully chalked and before the paste dries, remove your Transfer from the surface and immediately clean the Transfer with cool water (do not let it soak).

8. Dry the Transfer flat with the sticky side up. Once completely dry, reapply the Transfer Backer Sheet and store flat.

9. Bask in the awesome sour power of your new project!

Come see how I chalked the April Club Couture - Keep Going, Keep Growing // Come craft with me!

How many plants do you have? Like in your home and not bushes or trees? I only have 1. Yes...1. I don't do well with keeping plants alive. I have tried different flowers and vegetables. But so far I haven't has any luck. A co-worker gave me a Bamboo plant for my birthday this year and I have kept it alive so far.... which reminds me to go water it now. Ok... Now that that is done, It will stay alive a little bit longer.

This month's Club Couture was really fun to chalk since I used 5 different Chalk Paste Colors. It took about 7 minutes from start to finish, which is a pretty fast craft. So under 10 minutes with clean up. Just enough time for a busy mom to add a little customer home decor to the house while waiting for dinner to finish.

Come along to watch me make it!

Step 1: Grab all your supplies that you will need. This makes it so much easier so you don't have to get up while chalking. Always stir your paste colors before you use them. If they feel a little dry, add a little bit of distilled water to it and stir well.

Step 2: Time to Fuzz Fuzz FUZZ! These newer transfers seem really sticky so fuzz it well so it doesn't stick too much to the surface.

Step 3: Lay your transfer down onto your surface. Make sure it's completely flat.

Step 4: I started with Bright White Chalk Paste with the words and the middle planter.

Step 5: Now I grabbed my Jade Chalk Paste to do all of the greenery.

Step 6: Next I went with Sunny Side Chalk Paste for the left planter.

Step 7: At this point, I decided to use the Paste and Pull method. I peeled down the transfer down about half way down. This helps from the paste drying inside the mesh area on the transfer. Once I pulled it down, I used my Quick Dry Tool to dry it before I carefully and lightly laid it back down.

Step 8: After laying the top part of the transfer carefully back down, I push the transfer around it back down. Now it was time to continue chalking. I used Sunset Drive Chalk Paste on the 2nd and 4th Planter.

Step 9: Now I grabbed the Seafoam Chalk Paste and chilled the last planter.

Step 10: Lift up transfer and wash it off. The faster you wash it, the cleaner it will be. Use the Board Eraser to get it really clean, really easy. Its a great tool! After washing, lay it upside down so it can dry and you can put on the backing. These transfers are meant to be used 8-12 times each! But I have heard of people using them way more than that! Now clean your tools. During the chalking, I will wipe them will baby wipes, but when I am done, I just put them in a mason jar filled will water. These are easy to clean too. I've never even needed soap to clean them.

I really love how this came out! It goes with everything in my house so I can put it anywhere. It also can be used for a long time since it's not holiday related!

I played it on the bookcase that my husband built. I think it goes great!

What Paste colors would you choose? There are so many options, the outcome possibilities are unlimited!
