New En Vogue Colors for the 2022 Autumn Collection // Time to get crafty / Autumn Collection Launch

 

Chalk Couture has made some delicious additions with new En Vogue colors. What are En Vogue colors? Chalk Couture is proud to introduce Glow in the Dark, Forest, Rust, Shimmer Moonlight, Slate Rose Chalk Pastes and Orange Peek Ink  for Autumn 2022. These are fresh, on-trend paste colors, introduced specifically to highlight the designs in this season’s catalog. They rotate out with new collection releases, so take advantage of them before they go!

Glow In The Dark Chalkology® Paste

It’s glow in the dark chalk paste! Chalk this translucent paste over another color for daytime visibility. Light-exposed paste will show in darkness. It’s washable and offers a matte finish. Chalkology® Paste is formulated for use with Chalk Transfer® designs and Chalk Couture™ surfaces. Can also be applied to other nonporous surfaces.

July Club Couture - Berry Sweet 🍓 // Let's get chalking!

 

Eat, drink, and be berry! July’s Club Couture Transfer features delectable strawberries and contains the sweet essence of summer. Shipments include the Berry Sweet Transfer and Black Velvet, Candy Apple, and Eucalyptus Chalkology® Paste Singles.


 Ready to start this months creation? Follow along! 

Your shipment this month includes the Berry Sweet Club Couture Transfer and Chalkology® Paste Singles: Candy Apple, Black Velvet and Eucalyptus.

Supplies Included

Club Couture Chalk Transfer: Berry Sweet
Chalkology® Paste Singles: Black Velvet, Candy Apple, and Eucalyptus*

Additional supplies needed: 

Double-Sided Box Frame (9" × 12")
Color Trays 
Fuzzing Cloth
Multi-Tool
Mini Squeegee
*Chalkology Paste Singles are subject to change.

Color and Placement Suggestions

Black Velvet: lines under sentiment
Candy Apple: strawberry pattern 
Eucalyptus: sentiment

Follow these instructions to complete this project:

1. Peel off the Transfer Backer Sheet and “fuzz” the Transfer by gently pressing onto a Fuzzing Cloth and carefully pulling it upward.

2. Center the Transfer on the surface; smooth it out to ensure it has properly adhered and that there are no bubbles or wrinkles.

3. Knead your Chalkology Paste Singles. Squeeze the desired amount of paste onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.

4. Use your Multi-Tool and Mini Squeegee to apply color over your Transfer (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”). Scrape away excess paste as evenly as possible.

5. For best results, divide your project into sections and use the chalk-and-pull method. Chalk the center section of the design and peel back that portion to let the paste dry before continuing.

6. Gently lay the Transfer back down over the chalked section. Ensure the unchalked sections of the Transfer are fully adhered, without bubbles or wrinkles. Repeat the above steps as you chalk the remainder of the Transfer.

7. Once fully chalked, and before the paste dries, remove Transfer from surface and immediately clean the Transfer with cool water
(do not let it soak).

8. Dry the Transfer flat with the sticky side up. Once dry, reapply the Transfer Backer Sheet and store flat.

9. Bask in the sweetness of your latest project!

June Club Couture - Live in the Sunshine // Let's get chalking!

Dive into DIY with Club Couture™! Featuring a beloved quote from the great writer, Ralph Waldo Emerson, this Transfer celebrates living in the moment. Your shipment this month includes the Live in Sunshine Transfer and Couture Teal, Guava, and Shimmer Harvest Chalkology® Paste Singles.


      Ready to start this months creation? Follow along! 

Your shipment this month includes the Live in the Sunshine Club Couture Transfer and Chalkology® Paste Singles: Couture Teal, Guava, and Shimmer Harvest.


Supplies Included

Club Couture Chalk Transfer® design: Live in The Sunshine
Chalkology® Paste Singles: Couture Teal, Guava, and Shimmer Harvest

Additional Supplies Needed

Surface: Door Tag (9" × 12")
Tools: Color Trays, Fuzzing Cloth, Mini Squeegee

Color and Placement Suggestions

Couture Teal: “swim”, “the wild air”, lines
Guava: “in the sunshine”, lines, “drink”, “Ralph Waldo Emerson” 
Shimmer Harvest: “live”, “the sea”, lines

Follow these instructions to complete this project:

1. Remove your Transfer from its packaging and carefully peel off the Transfer Backer Sheet.

2. “Fuzz” the Transfer by gently pressing onto a Fuzzing Cloth and carefully pulling it upward. This will make the Transfer easier to remove from the surface after you’ve applied the paste.

3. Center the Live in The Sunshine Transfer on the surface, and smooth it out to ensure it has properly adhered and that there are no bubbles or wrinkles.

4.Knead your Chalkology Paste Singles. Cut open the corner of each packet and squeeze the desired amount of paste onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.

5. Use your Mini Squeegee to apply color over your Transfer (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”). Scrape away excess paste as evenly as possible. The more excess paste you remove, the better the result will be.

6. For best results, divide your project into two sections and use the chalk-and-pull method. Chalk the top section of the design and peel back only that portion of the Transfer to let the paste dry on the surface before continuing. To prevent any stretching in the Transfer, peel from the center or from both corners.

7. Gently lay the Transfer back down over the chalked section. Ensure that the next section is fully adhered, and repeat the above steps as you work your way down the Transfer.

8. Once your design is fully chalked and before the paste dries, remove your Transfer from the surface and immediately clean the Transfer with cool water (do not let it soak).

9. Dry the Transfer flat with the sticky side up. Once completely dry, reapply the Transfer Backer Sheet and store flat.

10. Show off your splashing new project!
