Chalk Couture has made some delicious additions with new En Vogue colors. What are En Vogue colors? Chalk Couture is proud to introduce Glow in the Dark, Forest, Rust, Shimmer Moonlight, Slate Rose Chalk Pastes and Orange Peek Ink for Autumn 2022. These are fresh, on-trend paste colors, introduced specifically to highlight the designs in this season’s catalog. They rotate out with new collection releases, so take advantage of them before they go!
It’s glow in the dark chalk paste! Chalk this translucent paste over another color for daytime visibility. Light-exposed paste will show in darkness. It’s washable and offers a matte finish. Chalkology® Paste is formulated for use with Chalk Transfer® designs and Chalk Couture™ surfaces. Can also be applied to other nonporous surfaces.
Make your statement with creamy dreamy™ chalk paste that can be quickly applied to any hard surface. It’s washable, forgiving when wet, and offers a hard, matte finish when dry. Specially formulated for use with Chalk Transfer® designs and Chalk Couture™ surfaces.
Each jar of Chalkology® Paste includes 3 US fl. oz. Our paste goes far! One jar will last you for lots of projects, surfaces, and creative adventures. Jars are a great choice for those dazzling colors you know you’ll be drawn to time and time again.
What is your favorite color? I can't wait to use the glow in the dark chalk paste!

We love autumn! September’s Club Couture™ Transfer features foliage and trendy lettering that make us want to jump into a pile of crunchy fall leaves. Your Club Couture™ shipment also includes: Currant Jam, Guava, and Shimmer Harvest paste singles. We paired this month’s Transfer with our Couture Gallery™ Aiden Style White Frame (Black, 9” x 12”, item S183127) to make the classic autumn colors pop!
Follow these instructions to complete this project:
1. Remove your Transfer from its packaging and carefully peel off the Transfer Backer Sheet.
2. “Fuzz” the Transfer by gently pressing it onto a Fuzzing Cloth and carefully pulling it upward. This makes the Transfer easier to remove from the surface after you’ve applied the paste.
3. Center the Transfer on the surface and smooth it out to ensure it has properly adhered and that there are no bubbles or wrinkles.
4. Knead your Chalkology Paste Singles. Cut open the corner of each packet and squeeze the desired amount of paste onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.
5. Use a small amount of paste to smooth over the Transfer, beginning at the top (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”, and keep in mind step 7). To chalk the fine details, use a Multi-Tool.
6. As you work through each detail and color, squeegee the excess paste off as evenly as possible and scrape it back into the tray. The more excess paste you remove, the better the result will be.
7. For best results, use the chalk-and-pull method: Chalk the top half of the design and peel back only that portion of the Transfer to let the paste dry on the surface before continuing (using a Quick Dry Tool is a great option). This allows you to work in smaller sections without having the paste dry in the screen, making the Transfer difficult to remove. To prevent any stretching in the Transfer, peel from the center or from both corners, instead of peeling diagonally.
8. Once the top half of the design is dry, ensure the bottom half of the Transfer is still secure on the surface and repeat steps 5 and 6 for the rest of the design.
9. Before the paste dries, remove your Transfer from the surface and immediately clean the Transfer with cool water (do not let it soak).
10. Dry the Transfer flat with the sticky side up.
11. Reapply the Transfer Backer Sheet and store flat.
Our basic instructions go like this: choose a surface and Transfer, add some paste or ink, and start creating. With the Best Basics Chalk It Up Kit, you’ll have what you need to carry out those instructions and you’ll be well on your way to artistry!
This kit includes two of our favorite surfaces: Board & Base (perfect for A-sized Transfers) and a Sylvie White Frame (perfect for B-sized Transfers). Both surfaces are reusable with Chalkology Paste, and can be used in either landscape or portrait orientation. Plus, that Board & Base is reversible so you can have two projects to display all at once!
