The October Shipment comes with Bark, Cadet, and Shimmer Copper Chalkology® Paste Singles.

Supplies Included:

-Club Couture Chalk Transfer® design: Abundantly Blessed Chalkology®
-Paste Singles: Bark, Cadet, Shimmer Copper*
-Coordinating accessory: Couture Boutique® Chalkable Shapes Abundantly Blessed

Additional supplies needed:

-Pallet Sign (9" × 12")
-Color Trays
-Mini Squeegee
-Multi-Tool
-Fuzzing Cloth
-Quick Dry Tool
-Hot glue gun

Color and Placement Suggestions:

Bark: dots
Cadet: sentiment
Shimmer Copper: leaves and seasonal icons, borders

Follow these instructions to complete this project:

1. Knead your Chalkology Paste Singles. Cut the paste singles open and squeeze the desired amount of paste onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.

2. Remove the Transfer Backer Sheet and “fuzz” the Transfer on a Fuzzing Cloth. Center the Transfer on the Pallet Sign; smooth out the Transfer to ensure that it has properly adhered and there are no bubbles or wrinkles.

3. For best results when applying paste, divide your project into sections and use the chalk-and-pull method. To perform this method, apply paste one section at a time (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”) using a squeegee or Multi-Tool. Once you have chalked a section, and before the paste dries, peel back the Transfer (without removing it from the surface completely) and let the paste dry before continuing. You can use a Quick Dry Tool to expedite the drying process. Lay the Transfer back down over the chalked section.

4. Repeat steps as necessary until the design has been completely chalked. Remove your Transfer from the surface and immediately clean the Transfer with cool water (do not let it soak). Dry the Transfer flat with the sticky side up.

5. Allow the Transfer to dry completely before using it again to apply paste to your Chalkable Shape (chalk-and-pull method is not needed).

6. Clean and care for the Transfer again, according to the instructions given in step 4. Once dry, reapply the Transfer Backer Sheet and store flat.

7. Use hot glue to adhere the Chalkable Shape to the Pallet Sign, directly over top of where you chalked its corresponding element on the surface.

Add this beautiful piece to your seasonal décor!

October Club Couture - Mighty Acorns // Let's get to chalking!

Fall is here and that brings in October. October is one of my favorite months of the year. All the pumpkins, falling leaves and cooler nights bring my happiness levels way up. Walking up to my porch with pumpkins over flowing makes me smile every time I walk through my front door. Watching all the Halloween and Fall movies with my family and making homemade popcorn gives me joy.

This months Club Couture- Mighty Acorns - fits perfect for the whole Fall season. This can be done is come many different paste colors.

Ready to start this months creation? Follow along!

This month’s Club Couture™ subscription includes Chalkology® Paste Singles in Currant Jam, Dune, and Storm.

Supplies Included

-Club Couture Chalk Transfer® design: Mighty Oaks
-Chalkology® Paste Singles (subject to change): Currant Jam, Dune, and Storm

Additional supplies

-Double-Sided Box Frame (6" × 18")
-Placement Tape
-Color Trays
-Fuzzing Cloth
-Quick Dry Tool
-Fine Mist Sprayer
-Mini Squeegee
-paint brush

Color and Placement Suggestions

Created on the stained side of the Box Frame Currant Jam: background
Dune: foliage and sentiment

Follow these instructions to complete this project:

1. Line edges of Box Frame with Placement Tape. This will prevent the paste from coating the inner edges of the frame.

2. Knead your Chalkology Paste Singles and cut them open. Squeeze the desired amount of paste onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.

3. Begin by adding a small amount of water to the Currant Jam paste and lightly mixing it. Use a paint brush to coat the surface of the Box Frame and let dry. You can also use a Quick Dry Tool to speed the drying process. Remove Placement Tape.

4. Cut your Transfer along the provided cut lines to separate the foliage image from the sentiment.

5. Peel off the Transfer Backer Sheet and “fuzz” the Transfer by gently pressing onto a Fuzzing Cloth and carefully pulling it upward.

6. Off-set your foliage to the right side of the Box Frame; smooth the Transfer out to ensure it has properly adhered and that there are no bubbles or wrinkles.

7. Use your Mini Squeegee to apply paste over your Transfer (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”). Scrape away excess paste as evenly as possible. Once fully chalked, and before the paste dries, remove the Transfer from the surface.

8. Repeat the above steps as you chalk the sentiment on the left side of the Box Frame.

9. Immediately clean both pieces of your Transfer with cool water (do not let them soak).

10. Dry the Transfer flat with the sticky side up. Once dry, reapply the Transfer Backer Sheet and store flat.

11. Display this dose of inspiration for yourself and others!

My 2021 Halloween 3 Tiered Tray // Come see what I use to create it! // Come Craft with me!

Halloween is one of my top 3 favorite holidays of the year. I search out for new and fun items to decorate the house with. And I always love creating and styling my Halloween 3 Tiered Tray every year. I have found a lot of great Rae Dunn Halloween mugs too, so I couldn't wait to use those.  Come see how I decorated my 3 Tiered Tray!

Top Tray

Starting from the left, I have the Sarah Sanderson Funko Pop that I bough from Amazon last year. Behind Sarah is a candy corn colored small brush tree that I got from Target this year. They came in a pack of 2. Then in front of the Tree is a Johanna Parker Pumpkin Salt Shaker. It comes in a set of 2 items and came from Marshalls. This was the 1st time finding anything Johanna Parker! I was so excited!! Behind the Pumpkin is my black BOO Rae Dunn Mug that I bought from Facebook Marketplace. Inside of the mug is a vintage candy corn that I bought years ago at the Lodi Street Faire. It's one of my favorite decorations for Halloween. The Halloween beaded garland starts of the top tray and the pumpkin is hanging from the handle of the BOO mug.

Middle Tray

Starting from the left, I have a Rae Dunn Halloween Mug. Inside of the mug is a Rae Dunn Spooky black spatula. Hanging from the spatula is a the Pumpkin Tag from my Etsy shop. In front of the Halloween mug is another Vintage candy corn. In the middle of the tray is a Mary Sanderson Funko Pop that I bought off of Amazon. On the right of Mary is my Purple Hocus Pocus Rae Dunn Mug. I bought it off of Facebook Marketplace. Hanging next to the Hocus Pocus mug is the October 31st Tag from my Etsy Shop.  The Halloween beaded garland lays across the front of the middle tray.

Bottom Tray

On the left, I have a Lime Green Toxic Rae Dunn mug that I bought from Facebook Marketplace. Inside is a Velvet orange pumpkin that I bought from the Target Dollar Spot. In front of the Toxic mug is another vintage candy corn. It is the last of the set of 3. In the middle is the leader of the pack, Winifred Sanderson, who is flying on her brookstick. To the right of Winifred is another candy corn colored brush tree. I bought these in a set of 2 at Target. A little behind the tree is a Fright Night Rae Dunn mug that I bought at Home Goods. Inside the Fright Night mug is a Trick or Treat orange Rae Dunn Spatula. It's kind of hidden. Handing off that spatula is a Boo Tag from my Etsy Shop. We finish off the bottom tray with the end of the Halloween Beaded Garland.

On the left of the 3 Tiered Tray

Closest to the 3 tiered tray is a Happy Halloween Pumpkin Orange Rae Dunn candle. Sitting inside of the candle is the Halloween Owl pepper shaker from Johanna Parker. This was in a set that I got from Marshalls. To the left of that is a DIY Pumpkin Cook Book Stand that I made using Chalk Couture items! It's one of my favorites that I have made. In front is a Eat Up Witches Rae Dunn Tray that I found at Home Goods. I feel that it fits well with the Hocus Pocus Witches.

Oh my Gourd- I Love Fall Metal sign // Come craft with me!

This is such a great item to use inside or outside your house. This sign only took about 5 minutes to make including set up and clean up. I love these projects since they are so easy to do. Plus, you can just spray it with water and wipe it off if you wanted to reuse the sign for another project.

Oh my “gourd”! A funny autumnal play on words brings your Transfer collection to a whole new level. We know that projects made with this Transfer are going to get your friends and family to smile, especially when you’re giving those projects as seasonal gift items! For a different look, try using just the “I love fall!” portion by itself or in conjunction with any of our other autumn-themed offerings.

Come see how I made this!

Step 1: Gather all your items together so they are in reach. I used a Hobby Lobby metal galvanized tag sized: 7 7/8 inches x 5 15/16 inches. I used 3 Chalk Pastes in Bright White, Black Velvet and Shimmer Pumpkin. I used 2 small squeegees and 1 mini squeegee. I used the Oh My Gourd Transfer

Step 2: Open your chalk pastes and stir them up so they are ready to be used. Add in some distilled water if needed but then new Chalk Pastes are amazing!

Step 3: Grab your transfer and a Fuzzing Cloth and fuzz well. I mean REALLY FUZZ! Use the back courser side of needed.

Step 4: Lay your fuzzed transfer down and start applying you Chalk Paste to the transfer. I used 3 different Chalk Pastes colors. I started from the top with the Black Velvet Chalk paste, and then chalked the Gourd in Orange Peel Chalk Paste. If you are a slow chalked, I would use the Paste and Pull method. The Paste and Pull method is where you chalk and then lift the transfer up and pull down to the area you have chalked to. Hold it up until the paste looks dry. Then carefully lay it back down and continue chalking! The last part is to use the Bright White Chalk Paste in the words on the bottom.

Step 5: Once you are done applying Chalk Paste, lift transfer up and wash it well. Let air dry and once dry, replace backer sheet

You are all done! Now it's time to show off your new DIY Oh My Gourd you made!

Watch me make it here:
