Another week, another week of meals planned. So far, this has helped with the daily stress of what to make plus we have saved between $100-$150 a week on groceries. Not to bad for a little planning!
Do you change your meals based on the seasons? I sure do! I seem to make more soups and crockpot meals in the Fall and Winter seasons.
Monday: Alfredo Chicken w/ Zucchini and Noodles
Tuesday: Meatloaf w/ mashed Potatoes & Broccoli
Wednesday: Chicken Enchilada Soup
Thursday: Meatball Casserole with Salad & French Bread
Friday: Kids Pick
Saturday: Hamburgers & Fries
Sunday: Broccoli Cheese Soup
After making my list, now it's time to see what I need at the store. Some things I stock up on, so I don't always need to buy everything we need. Keeping a good stock of non perishables is so important just in case something happens. I like to be prepared always!
Here is my grocery list:
I did a grocery pick up on Saturday this week. The best part about this is that I don't have to get out of the car! I drive up and they bring it out to my car. They confirm with me and then open up the back of my suburban and load it all in there. That's it!
Once I get home, I just make sure I have everything. I think only once, I was missing something. On the Walmart app, I start a return and they refund me right away. Also, If you don't like the quality of the item, they refund you as well. And if they have to substitute an item, you get charged the amount of the item you pick, unless its cheaper. I do notice that normally if I get a substituted item, the item that they used a better item. That works for me.
Here is what I ordered this week
After I do a grocery pick up, I normally get a survey on how my grocery pick up way. I am completely honest, as this is the time for them to make their great service even better. Ready to make your own Meal Planner?
