September Club Couture seems to be a favorite with most designs! It's one of my favorites too!  I love to see all the different ways that other designers use the Club Couture transfer each month. It amazes me the creativity that people have and the designs that they make are amazing!

My take on the September Club Couture - Fall Blessings

You will adore this gentle nod to the coziest season of the year, accented with the classic autumn Chalkology Paste colors that come in your kit this month—Pesto, Currant Jam, and Shimmer Copper. We also think this would look beautiful using Shimmer Harvest or Shimmer Gold, along with Papaya and Dune for a different look and feel. Use the elegant design as is, or try using the elements separately to create coordinating accents. “Blessings'' are welcome all year long! The more you explore, the more you’ll “Fall” in love.

This month's Club Couture Transfer is one of my absolute favorite! I love everything Fall and I mean EVERYTHING! So this transfer is just my type! I finally had a little me time so I decided to bust of the Club Couture transfer!

Follow along to see how I styled it.

September Club Couture Transfer: Fall Blessing

Lets get Started!

Step 1: Get your accessories all together so you are not stopping mid way to grab something. This is the time to pick your paste colors and stir them well. Always stir your paste colors before you use them. If they feel a little dry, add a little bit of distilled water to it and stir well. I picked Current Jam and Shimmer Gold

Step 2: Take your transfer out of the plastic covering and fuzz fuzz fuzz that transfer! The new transfers seem stickier to me, so I make sure to fuzz well!

Step 3: Lay your transfer down onto your surface. Make sure its completely flat.

Step 4: Make a game plan of where you want your paste colors to go. I wanted the F A L L letters to be in Current Jam and Blessings to be in Shimmer GoldI used the Small Squeegees for each paste color.

Step 5:
With this transfer, I cut it apart and I actually didn't use all the pieces. I first placed the F A L L section down first. I chalked that with Current Jam. I remove that transfer and let the chalk dry which doesn't take long. While you are waiting for your chalk to dry, go clean the transfer.  Secondly, I take the Blessing section of the transfer and lay it on the bottom section. I lay it over the previous chalked area. Just make sure it's DRY! Now use the Shimmer Gold on the blessing area.

Step 6: Lift up transfer and wash it off. The faster you wash it, the cleaner it will be. Use the Board Eraser to get it really clean, really easy. Its a great tool! After washing, lay it upside down so it can dry and you can put on the backing. These transfers are meant to be used 8-12 times each! But I have heard of people using them way more than that! Now clean your tools. During the chalking, I will wipe them will baby wipes, but when I am done, I just put them in a mason jar filled will water. These are easy to clean too. I've never even needed soap to clean them.

Step 7: Display your awesome chalk art!

What Paste colors could you choose? There are so many options, the outcome possibilities are unlimited!

September Club Couture - Fall Blessings

You will adore this gentle nod to the coziest season of the year, accented with the classic autumn Chalkology Paste colors that come in your kit this month—Pesto, Currant Jam, and Shimmer Copper. We also think this would look beautiful using Shimmer Harvest or Shimmer Gold, along with Papaya and Dune for a different look and feel. Use the elegant design as is, or try using the elements separately to create coordinating accents. “Blessings'' are welcome all year long! The more you explore, the more you’ll “Fall” in love.

 Supplies Needed

-Club Couture TransferFall Blessings

-Chalkology Paste Singles: Shimmer Copper, Currant Jam, Pesto

-ChalkologyTM Paste: Bright White (included in the optional Kickstart Kit)

-Tools: Mini Squeegee (2), Small SqueegeeColor TraysFuzzing Cloth and Transfer Trimmers

-Surface: Couture GalleryTM Aiden White Frame (9" × 12")

Color and Placement for Club Couture

1. Fall: Ombr effect with Shimmer Copper and Currant Jam
2. Blessings: Bright White
3. Wheat accents: Pesto

Follow these instructions to complete the Club Couture project:

1. Prepare your Chalk Transfer by removing it from the packaging and cut apart the individual elements. Label the backer papers with a marker to correspond with the image; this makes cleanup easier.

2. Before using each Transfer element, be sure to gently “fuzz” it to the adhesive by sticking the adhesive screen to a Fuzzing Cloth or terry towel to pick up a bit of lint before applying the Transfer to your board.

3. Center the word “Fall” on the board and smooth it out to adhere, ensuring there are no bubbles.

4. Prepare each Chalkology Paste by kneading the packet, cutting or tearing off the corner, and squeezing the desired amount onto one of your Color Trays or another palette surface. Stir the paste if using 3 US fl. oz. jar.

5. Use a generous amount of Chalkology Paste on a Small Squeegee and smooth it over the top half of the letters (see color and placement suggestions). Use a clean squeegee to chalk the bottom half of the letters in a different color and blend the two colors together with your finger.

6. Once the screen portion of the design is completely covered, squeegee the excess paste off as evenly as possible and scrape unused paste back into the palette. The more excess paste you remove, the better the result will be.

7. When finished, slowly peel back the Transfer before the paste dries, and immediately clean the Transfer with water.

8. Once clean, let the Transfer dry with the sticky side up.

9. Allow sufficient drying time of your surface (or use a hair dryer to speed up drying) before layering subsequent steps.

10. Repeat these basic techniques with all elements of your design.

11. Once all the Transfer elements are clean and dry, reapply all backers and store flat.
