3 Valentines Craft ideas with easy Bundles! Come craft with me!!

What makes a craft project easier?

When everything is bundled together! There is no searching and feeling like you are forgetting something.

I have created a few bundles to make it easy to buy. Click on the picture or the linked title to grab these!

You Are Bundle

Can we talk about how cute this Transfer is?! For anyone who is the milk to your cookie, the cheese to your macaroni, you’re going to need to put your paste to this Transfer. This playful and flirty message captures all the fun of being in love. We love the look of this on a Pallet Sign (5½" x 7½") or any Chalk Couture A-sized surface (5" x 7").

I created this bundle with everything you need to make this plus have the supplies to make so much more!

-Transfer: You Are

- Surface: Pallet Sign (5½" x 7½")

- Paste Colors: Candy Apple & Black Velvet

- Accessories: Small Squeegee

Hearts Bundle

Talk about heart to get! You’ll be pumped to try four different patterns, all in one Transfer. These fit on both sides of our Heart Cutouts (5¼" and 7”), but also look great on any chalkable or inkable surface. Stick with traditional Valentine hues, coordinate with the pigments in your home, or try a funky color combo that’s fresh for February 14 and beyond.

January Club Couture - You & Me /// Come Craft with me!

Get all lovey dovey for your special one with the January 2021 Club Couture Transfer, You & Me. A bold ampersand and playful hearts accentuate the love you share with your significant other. This Transfer makes it easy to decorate for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or any time you feel your heart beating faster for the love of your life. Create custom wedding and anniversary gifts for those idyllic couples in your life. This month’s Transfer includes Chalkology Paste Singles in Colonial Blue, Mauvelous, and Raspberry Sorbet. Recreate this look on a Farmhouse Pallet Sign (9” x 12”, item S191104).
Supplies Needed

Club Couture Transfer: You and Me

Surface: Farmhouse Pallet Sign (9" × 12", item S191104)

Chalkology Paste Singles: Colonial Blue, Mauvelous, Raspberry Sorbet

Tools: Small Squeegee, Mini Squeegees,  Transfer TrimmersColor Trays, and Fuzzing Cloth

Color and Placement Suggestions

Colonial Blue: Sentiment and accent hearts
Mauvelous: Accent hearts
Raspberry Sorbet: Accent hearts
Follow these instructions to complete this project:

1. Remove your Transfer from its packaging.

2. Cut along the Transfer’s provided cut lines to separate the elements.

3. Carefully peel off the Transfer Backer Sheet of the element you’re using first.

4. “Fuzz” the Transfer element by gently pressing onto a Fuzzing Cloth and carefully pulling it upward to collect a bit of lint (this helps to more easily remove the Transfer from the surface after you’ve applied the paste).

5. Centering top to bottom, position the “&” part of the Transfer in the center of the board. Smooth out the element to adhere, ensuring there are no bubbles.

6. Knead each Chalkology Paste Single, open the top, and squeeze the desired amount onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.

7. Use a generous amount of paste on your squeegee and smooth it over the Transfer (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”).

8. Once the screen portion of the design is completely covered, squeegee the excess paste off as evenly as possible and scrape it back into the tray. The more excess paste you remove, the better the result will be.

9.. Before the paste dries, slowly peel back the Transfer. To prevent any stretching in the Transfer, peel from two corners instead of peeling diagonally. Immediately clean the Transfer with cool water (do not let it soak).

10. Dry the Transfer flat with the sticky side up.

11. Once the chalked sections are dry, repeat steps 3–5 and 7–10 for the “you,” “me,” and the accent hearts. Let each layer of paste dry completely before adding additional paste layers.

12. Once all Transfer elements are washed and dried, reapply the Backer Sheet to each and store flat.

13. Relish your creation!

Happy New Years from Sara Nicole Designs!

Happy New Years! I am so happy to have 2020 over! Last year was unlike any other year before. There were ups and downs, but we came out stronger than ever. Between working a ton with my normal job, Safety Supervisor and UPS, becoming a teacher to my 2 older kids in elementary school, and trying to keep my household running smoothly.

This school year has been challenging with the kids changing to a new school, all while never setting foot into their new classrooms. My kids have never met their new classmates. But each of my kids have amazing teachers! Kellan has Mr. Baker and has been such a positive change from our teacher last year. From what I have heard, Mr. Baker is the most wanted 5th grade teacher! Kellan is so happy to have him and has gotten all 3's & 4's this year! Kellan has done great at distance learning, but wants to be back in the classroom. Arley has Mrs. Halligan and has loved her new teacher. Mrs. Halligan has always made sure to make Arley feel welcomed and loved. We are so happy with the kids teachers. Arley has struggled a little more with distance learning and keeping her stuff organized. We have had the helper from my Mom with helping Mason with preschool stuff and distance learning with all the kids! I don't know what we would do without her!

This year has been a learning experience with all of my creative endeavors. I have learned so much about Chalk Couture and love using it to decorate for every holiday and everyday home decor. It allows me to keep sane while dealing with all the stay at home orders.

Not sure what Chalk Couture is? Read all about it HERE

After last year, we learned that whatever life throws at us, we can get through it. We may not like it, but we can grit our teeth, learn how to do new things (like home school), and come out stronger!

Did you set goals for yourself for 2021?

I did! I want to work on a few things in my life - personal and business!

1. Try to keep organized.

2. Get on my Peleton at least 3 days a week.

3. Dedicate more time to my business - Sara Nicole Designs!

These don't seem to crazy, so I am hoping to be able to stick to them.

Who is ready for a new year!?! I know I am!

December Club Couture - Welcome

Welcome to Club Couture! We hope you feel the warmth and kindness of this month’s Transfer. There are so many ways you can use this! Swap out the “o” in “Welcome” with the floral image, accent with additional foliage as desired, or vary your surface to best fit the space that calls to you. This month’s Club Couture subscription includes Chalkology Paste singles in warm tones—Storm, Guava, and Peachy Keen—but we can picture you using another mixture of colors for any sass, spunk, or class you want to add.

Supplies Needed

Club Couture Transfer: Welcome

Surface: Double-Sided Box Frame (6" × 18")

Chalkology Paste Singles: Guava, Peachy Keen, Storm

Tools: Multi-Tool, Small Squeegee, Transfer Trimmers, Color Trays, Fuzzing Cloth, Placement Tape

Color and Placement Suggestions

Storm: Letters and accent foliage Guava: Large flower
Peachy Keen: Flower center

Follow these instructions to complete this project:

1. Remove your Transfer from its packaging.

2. Cut along the Transfer’s provided cut lines to separate the elements.

3. Carefully peel off the Transfer Backer Sheet of the element you’re using first.

4. “Fuzz” the Transfer element by gently pressing onto a Fuzzing Cloth and carefully pulling it upward to collect a bit of lint (this helps to more easily remove the Transfer from the surface after you’ve applied the paste.

5. Centering top to bottom, position the “WELCO” part of the Transfer near the left side of the board, and the “ME” near the right side; leave sufficient space between the Transfer pieces to use the floral image in place of the “O”. Smooth out each element to adhere, ensuring there are no bubbles.

6. Knead each Chalkology Paste Single, open the corner, and squeeze the desired amount onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.

7. Use a generous amount of Chalkology Paste on your squeegee and smooth it over each letter of the Transfer, skipping the “O” in “Welcome” (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”).

8. Once the screen portion of the design is completely covered, squeegee the excess paste off as evenly as possible and scrape it back into the tray. The more excess paste you remove, the better the result will be.

9. Before the paste dries, slowly peel back the Transfer. To prevent any stretching in the Transfer, peel from two corners instead of peeling diagonally. Immediately clean the Transfer with cool water (do not let it soak).

10. Dry the Transfer flat with the sticky side up.

11. Once those chalked sections are dry, repeat steps 3–5 and 7–10 for the flower. Let the flower dry completely, then repeat for the flower’s center and the foliage piece (placing the foliage on the bottom right-hand side of the flower). When chalking the foliage piece, it may be helpful to cover the floral image with Placement Tape to keep from getting additional paste on your floral image (if pasted as we’ve shown, the foliage should appear as if it’s coming out from behind the flower).

12. Once all Transfer elements are washed and dried, reapply the Backer Sheet to each and store flat.

13. Relish your creation!
