February 2023 Club Couture -Welcomish // Let's get Chalking!

 


Calling introverts and extroverts alike! Club Couture™ is here for you! The mix of fonts, florals, and sentiments in the new February Club Couture Transfer can be customized to your liking whether your guests are welcome or just welcomish. February’s shipment includes Guava, Storm, and Pesto Chalkology® Paste Singles for a friendly and inviting (or semi-inviting) creation.

Ready to start this months creation? Follow along!
This February’s shipment includes Guava, Storm, and Pesto Chalkology® Paste Singles. 

Supplies Included

Club Couture Chalk Transfer® design: Welcomish 

Chalkology® Paste Singles: Guava, Pesto, Storm

Additional supplies 

-House Box Frame (9" × 12")

-Color Trays

-Small Squeegee

-Detail Tool

-Fuzzing Cloth

-Quick Dry Tool


Color and Placement Suggestions

Storm: sentiment 
Pesto: greenery 
Guava: flowers

Follow these instructions to complete this project:

  1. Cut along the provided lines in order to separate the individual Transfer elements.

  2. Knead your Chalkology Paste Singles. Cut the paste singles open and squeeze the desired amount of paste onto a Color Tray, using a new tray for each color.

  3. Remove the Transfer Backer Sheet from the “Welcome” element, and “fuzz” the Transfer. Center the Transfer on your House Box Frame; smooth it out to ensure that it has properly adhered and there are no bubbles or wrinkles.

  4. Use your squeegee to generously apply paste over the Transfer (see “Color and Placement Suggestions”). Clear off excess paste with your squeegee and scrape it back into the tray. The more excess paste you remove, the better your end product will be.

  5. Before the paste dries, remove the Transfer from the surface. To prevent any stretching in the Transfer, peel from two corners instead of peeling diagonally.

  6. Use a Quick Dry Tool to expedite the drying process, before working on subsequent areas of the surface. Once dry, chalk the remaining elements of the Transfer onto your House Box Frame, repeating steps 3–5 as necessary.

  7. Immediately clean your Transfer elements with cool water
    (do not let them soak). Dry the Transfer elements flat with the sticky side up. Once dry, reapply the Transfer Backer Sheets and store flat.

  8. Display your finished product at home and greet guests with this fun and frank sentiment!

All of me loves all of you! //Time to chalk // Valentines Day Crafts

I love creating for Valentines Day with all the pinks and reds! Pink is one of my favorite colors so I use it the most during Valentines Day. 

Come along with me while I create this Chalk Craft- All of me loves all of you! 

Supplies Needed

1 Surface -Couture Boutique® Board & Base 

2 Small Squeegees

2 Stir Sticks

1 Fuzzing Cloth

1 Jar of Black Velvet Chalk Paste

1 Jar of Raspberry Sorbet Chalk Paste


Step 1: Get all your supplies together and ready. 

Step 2: Remove your transfer from the backing and fuzz your transfer well. You don't want it too sticky or it will be really hard to remove from the surface and may stretch it out. 


Step 3: Place the transfer on the surface in the position that you want it. 

Step 4: Open up for you chalk Pastes and give them a good stir. If they are a little thick or dry, this is a good time to add a little distilled water. 


Step 5: I typically work from top to bottom, so I started with the Black Velvet Chalk Paste for everything except for the work LOVES. 


Step 6: Now I am going in with the Raspberry Sorbet Chalk Paste for the word LOVES. Since this is a smaller transfer, I am chalking all of it without lifting and drying it. 


Step 7: Time to remove the transfer. Pull transfer from the top down to prevent it from stretching it out. 

Step 8: Time to clean all your items! Clean the transfer first with cold water and a Board Eraser. Lay out the transfer to dry upside down.
