Chalkology™ Ink—ideal for a permanent application, our ink is available in a variety of custom colors and works well with Transfers.
Did you know that there is currently 23 different Ink colors available? You can also mix them together to make new colors. And all match with a Chalk Paste so they can coordinate with each other.
I've done a few projects with Ink, and they all came out great. There are pros and cons to ink, but I am happy to make projects.
Read all about Chalk vs Ink HERE!
One of the pros to ink is that you have a longer time frame to work with it. I have done a few pillow cases that have been more detailed, and I have spend at least 20 minutes without having to to the pull method. Another pro is that it is permanent. Once heat pressed, it can be washed over and over again and it doesn't wash out.
One of the cons is that it takes more ink to do a project that if you used that transfer with chalk. It's like the fabric just sucks it up. Just make sure you have enough ink to do a project. Another con is that if you make a mistake, it's not as easy to clean up as chalk paste on a chalkboard is.
